It's racing up almond trees, or snoozing inside igloos filled with straw for those lucky cats who have come to live out their lives at Cat Habitat sanctuary. Created nearly 12 years ago to help with a large rescue of abandoned cats threatened by urban renovation, this wonderful place has saved the lives of cats from as far south as San Diego, as far north as Santa Clara, and is the only cat sanctuary serving San Luis Obispo county. Hundreds of cats have come here to live out their lives in community with other cats, in safety from threats both natural and human, in peace and with love, care, and food -- 24/7! At Cat Habitat, cats who have no other call this their forever-home.
